<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a newly-structured wheel rotation sensor apparatus for reliably ensuring a sure sealing property in a bearing section of a wheel for a long time, and mounting a rotation sensor by a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: An accommodation recess 50 is formed in a core metal 44 assembled in an outer member 16 of a wheel bearing apparatus 12, and protrudes toward a pulser ring 38 provided in an inner member 14. A sensor element 58 is molded by a synthetic resin material so as to constitute a sensing section 56. The sensing section 56 of the rotation sensor 54 separated from the core metal 44 is fixed by a fixing means 63 while the sensing section 56 is accommodated in the accommodation recess 50.
