<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction picture management system, which can be easily constituted using a commercially available digital camera and a computer with construction picture management software incorporated thereto, and can easily perform sorting or arrangement of a number of construction pictures. <P>SOLUTION: The picture management system 10 includes the computer 11 to which construction picture management software is incorporated and the digital camera 12. The computer 11 with the construction picture management software includes a construction photographing point management unit 13 including a photographing item storage unit 14 which stores photographing item information to be taken, a selection information transfer unit 15 which selects a photographing item and transfers picture attribute data to the digital camera 12, and a picture data storage unit 16 which fetches and stores picture data taken based on the transferred picture attribute data from the digital camera 12 through an information transfer means 17.
