<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To illustrate a method for transcoding a first coding-format video input to a second-coding-format video output. <P>SOLUTION: A video input includes a set of segments, and each segment includes frames. Firstly, an accommodative method obtains a set of segments having a recovering force to down-sampling and a set of segments having full-resolutions which are included in the video input. Secondly, the accommodative method down-samples the set of segments having the recovering force to down-sampling, and generates a set of down-sampled segments. Thereafter, the accommodative method transcodes the video input by using the set of the segments having the full-resolution and the set of down-sampled segments, and generates the video output including at least two segments having different resolutions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
