<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that, when transparent toner printing for obtaining image quality with gloss is performed to be superimposed on color toner printing, a photoreceptor drum for transparent toner exists at a position where it comes into contact with a printing medium in a printing step for color toner printing in which transparent toner printing is not performed, whose situation is undesirable in terms of durability of an apparatus and printing quality. <P>SOLUTION: Color ID units 6K to 6C for forming a color toner image to be transferred to recording paper 3, and a transparent toner ID unit 6T for forming a transparent toner image to be transferred to the recording paper 3 are adjacently arranged on a conveyance path of the recording paper 3.
