The apparatus (1) has a case (14) comprising a circulation unit that circulates air from an air inlet of the case towards an air outlet of the case. An air heating and filtration chamber (M6) and an air dehumidification chamber (M4) are traversed by blown air. A loading chamber (M2) loads air in an active treating product, where the loading chamber comprises a distribution unit that distributes an active product e.g. liquid, to neutralize rock salt, nitrates, sulfates, mushrooms, mildew or saltpeter. A diffusion chamber (M1) is utilized for diffusing treated air. An independent claim is also included for a method for treating humidity of a building.
