<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection apparatus for inspecting a display device such as a liquid crystal projector, the inspection apparatus carrying out appropriate inspection. <P>SOLUTION: The inspection apparatus (100) carries out inspection comprising a plurality of steps on a display device (1100) by controlling the display device in such a manner that in each step, an image is projected while changing at least one inspection object parameter in a plurality of parameters influencing the internal operations of the display device.
