<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently regenerate a glass substrate with a proper reproduction treatment process by sorting a defective substrate having only a black matrix or a colored pixel and a defective substrate having an ITO film in the reproduction process of the glass substrate which is produced in the manufacturing process of the color filter substrate and which does not satisfies quality standards. <P>SOLUTION: An apparatus for regenerating the glass substrate regenerates the defective substrate produced in the manufacturing steps of the color filter substrate in which at least a light-shielding layer formed of a photosensitive black resin, a coloring pixel layer formed of a photosensitive colored resin and a transparent electrode layer formed of the ITO film are successively formed on the glass substrate. The apparatus for regenerating the glass substrate includes: a monitoring means for discriminating the presence of the ITO film by arranging a light transmission-type sensor using a light source having high luminance in a blue area and a green area at the substrate charging part of the reproducing apparatus and by sensing transmittance of two or more points of a raw glass part in each ITO film-forming region of all charged substrates; and a sorting means for charging the substrate to be charged into a proper treatment flow based on a discriminating signal of the monitoring means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
