<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder head cover that allows checking of the gas and liquid tightness between the cylinder head cover and a cam angle sensor before mounting them on the cylinder head, and facilitates positioning of the cam angle sensor relative to a cam shaft when mounting them on the cylinder head. <P>SOLUTION: The cylinder head cover 3 made of resin has a sensor inserting hole 31 to admit insertion of the cam angle sensor 5 fitted with an O-ring 6a. The cylinder head cover 3 is also furnished with a pair of fixing pawls 32 to hold a flange part 52 of the cam angle sensor 5 in such a manner as prevented from slipping-off. The cylinder head cover 3 is furnished with a jointly fastening/fixing part 33 for jointly tightening of the flange part 52 of the cam angle sensor 5 to a fastening/fixing part 4a of a cam cap 4 using a sensor mounting bolt 7. This fastening/fixing part for tightening together 33 is one of a plurality of fastening/fixing parts provided on the cylinder head cover 3 to be fastened and fixed to the cylinder head by a fastening bolt. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
