<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a differential device capable of suppressing the enlargement of a device and improving the degree of freedom of an arrangement layout in the differential device equipped with an intermittent mechanism actuating actuator. <P>SOLUTION: In the differential device 1 including a differential case 5 with a flange 3 through which drive torque is inputted, a differential mechanism 13 with a pinion 7 and a pair of output members 9, 11, the intermittent mechanism 15, and the actuator 17 and disposed in a transmission case, the intermittent mechanism 15 has a clutch member 23 and clutches 25, 27, the clutch member 23 has an annular base 29 and a coupling part 31 at the flange part 3 side of the differential case 5, an annular space 41 is defined by a side wall 35, an intermediate wall 37, and an inner peripheral wall 39 at the outer diameter side of the output member 9, the actuator 17 and the clutch member 23 are disposed at the flange part 3 side, and the clutches 25, 27 and the annular base 29 are disposed in the annular space 41. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
