PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent separation of cushions and falling and separation of gaskets, regarding a diaphragm for speakers used for various kinds of sound equipment and a speaker using the diaphragm. SOLUTION: The gasket and edge are formed integrally with a diaphragm body, and the width of the gasket is increased to give an inclination of 80 degrees or below to a side face, thus increasing a strength against a horizontal force applied to the gasket, and hence canceling troubles such as the falling and separation of the gasket.
