PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a balance weight of a rotary machine. SOLUTION: The balance weight (78) includes: a base (84); a rotating axis which extends from the base; and a circumference with opposite cam surfaces (110) about the rotating axis. The opposite cam surfaces (110) are inclined towards each other at least partially in a direction away from the base (84) along the rotating axis.
