PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an open showcase effectively illuminating merchandise displayed in a display chamber even in the open showcase with a case body of low height and obtaining a sufficient illuminating effect even in the case of having no shelf illumination. SOLUTION: The open showcase includes a plurality of support members 12 mounted to the upper face of a ceiling panel 11 of a case body 3 of the open showcase and pointing in the longitudinal direction of the case body, and an illumination mounting panel 13 mounted to the support members and provided with an illumination fitting part 13e at the lower face front end. The illumination mounting panel 13 has the same width dimension as the case body 3, and the rear side of the illumination mounting panel 13 is mounted in a longitudinal position adjustable manner to the support members 12.
