PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet folding device capable of forming a fold line at an accurate position without causing positional displacement when the folded end of a sheet folded by a folding roll is press-formed. SOLUTION: This sheet folding device includes folding roll means (21a, 21b) for folding a sheet at a predetermined position and a fold line forming means (23) which is disposed on the downstream side of the folding roll means and press-forms the fold line position of the folded sheet fed from the folding roll means thereto. The fold line forming means includes a pressing member having a first pressing part (Pr1) for pressing the upstream side of the fold line position of folded sheet from the folding roll means and a second pressing part (Pr2) for pressing the fold line position, and operating means (23M, 23S, 236) operating the pressing member so that the second pressing part presses the fold line portion of the sheet after the first pressing part thereof presses the folded sheet.
