PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple microscopic system and an objective lens unit, for easily acquiring sort information of an objective lens connected to a microscope body. SOLUTION: The microscopic system, having the microscope body 1 and the objective lens unit 4 for being mounted so as to be freely attachable/detachable to the microscope body 1, includes: a sorting part 10 which is provided in the objective lens unit 4, and which holds the sort information of the objective lens 4a as electrical information; a single connection member 11 which is provided in the objective lens unit 4 and electrically connected to the sorting part 10; and an identification circuit 16 which is provided in the microscope body 1 and connected to the sorting part 10 through the connection member 11, and which thereby obtains the sort information of the objective lens unit 4.
