PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device capable of effectively utilizing heat of a heater that generates the heat. SOLUTION: When small-size paper passes, a controller 4 allows a first heater 11 to generate heat, and also allows a heating unit 10 to rotate so that the first heater 11 may come closer to a center part of a nip N than a second heater 12 and a third heater 13.
