PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrooptical device improved in quality (electrooptical characteristics) and also to provide a manufacturing method for the electrooptical device. SOLUTION: This electrooptical device is provided with: a substrate 11a on which a film is formed; a region of a light emitting element 27 provided on the surface (an element formation side) of the substrate 11a; and a magnetic substance film 40 provided on a rear surface opposing to the surface of the substrate 11a.
