PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil drain structure capable of suitably restraining the mixture of bubbles in a lubricant in a chain cover. SOLUTION: An oil drain passage 70 for leading the lubricant in a space surrounded with the side wall of an engine block 100 and the inner wall of the chain cover, to an oil pan 40 side is formed of a partition wall 60 formed by making a rib arranged on the inner wall of the chain cover abut on a rib arranged on the side wall of the engine block 100.
