PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce an optical compensation film which is excellent in reworkability and is made of cellulose acylate free of adhesion of the films to each other. SOLUTION: The optical compensation film 10 is made of cellulose acylate, wherein a plasticizing agent is unevenly distributed in the thickness direction so that the inner content is higher than those of the first and second surfaces 11a, 12a. The plasticizing agent is a polymer having a repeating unit containing an ester bond of carboxylic acid and diol. The optical compensation film has Re in the range of 0-100 nm and Rth in the range of 0-400 nm, for light of a wavelength of 550 nm. The surface energy of the optical compensation film 10 after saponification processing at a predetermined condition is in the range of 50-75 mN/m. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
