PURPOSE: A hybrid hard disk input and output system based on n-block pre-fetch for improving input and output performance and low power is provided to pre-fetch blocks to a flash memory by using n-block pre-fetch technique. CONSTITUTION: An n-block priority manager module(103) calculates input and output request frequency per a block according to input and output request from a host. The n-block priority manager module determines priority per block from input and output request frequency. A hybrid pre-fetching manager module(104) pre-fetches a block to nonvolatile memory with an order of higher priority. The hybrid pre-fetch manager module alternates the block, which is pre-fetched to the nonvolatile memory, according to recent access frequency by the host.
