<p>Product (I) comprises marine biopolymers in the form of powder having a particle size of = 50 microns, dissolved in a neutral solvent. An independent claim is included for preparing mother-of-pearl comprising: crushing mollusk shells, with a solution based on Calbenium(RTM: Sterilizing chemical composition containing e.g. EDTA, chloramine, benzalkonium chloride and allantoin) to obtain coarse pieces; grinding the pieces in the presence of beads a to obtain a powder having specified diameter and size; and sieving the obtained powder.
