The method involves selecting a zone of a surface covering (3) protected against accumulation of electrostatic charges, and providing studs (1) that transport the electrostatic charges, where each stud includes a rod (10) extended in a part of a concrete floor (2), and a head (11) in flush with the surface covering. Cavities (4) are provided in the zone of the surface covering extended in the part of the concrete floor, where each cavity receives each stud. The studs are respectively placed inside the cavities. An independent claim is also included for a device for dissipating electrostatic charges, comprising cavities.
