<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: an image display device to control turning on/turning off of display according to the behavioral aspects of a person; an image display method; and a program. <P>SOLUTION: An analysis device 71 analyzes audio signals inputted from a microphone 50 and outputs the analysis results to a determination device 72. The determination device 72 detects whether or not a person exists in the periphery based on the analysis results inputted from the analysis device 71. The determination device 72 creates and updates a power sequence based on the detection records.
