<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide bathing equipment which reduces acid ion water when alkali ion water is obtained by electrolysis. <P>SOLUTION: A cation exchange membrane 12 is sandwiched between a positive electrode 15 and a negative electrode 16. A channel 21 which passes tap water is provided in a cathode-side passage between the negative electrode 16 and the cation exchange membrane 12, and the cation exchange membrane 12 is closely contacted to the positive electrode 15. The cation exchange membrane 12 on the side of the positive electrode 15, is kept in a wet state where an H<SP>+</SP>ion penetrates for generating bubbles of hydrogen gas on the negative electrode 16. Thus the generation of an oxygen ion is suppressed and the acid ion water is reduced without having a hydroxy-ion OH<SP>-</SP>penetrated through the cation exchange membrane 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
