THE METHOD OF DETECTING HARMFUL RED TIDE USING ULTRASONIC SOUND SENSOR

PURPOSE: A method for detecting harmful red tide using an ultrasonic sound sensor is provided to detect the occurrence and the intensity of the red tide by measuring a reflected receiving signal with respect to the sound signal of the ultrasonic sound sensor. CONSTITUTION: A sound signal is generated form an ultrasonic sound sensor. A reflected receiving signal with respect to the sound signal from the ultrasonic sound sensor is received using a receiving unit. Based on the receiving signal, the occurrence of harmful red tide and the intensity of the harmful red tide are measured. The ultrasonic sound sensor is installed to fixed buoys or vessels.
