PURPOSE: A touch type liquid crystal display device for improving sensing efficiency and a touch sensing method therefor are provided to minimize defective sensing due to brightness of surrounding light, thereby increasing sensing efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal panel(10) includes a plurality of optical sensors. The liquid crystal panel displays an image according to drive analog data. A backlight unit(120) irradiates light to the rear side of the liquid crystal panel. An average brightness extracting unit(141) extracts average image brightness. |
