PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a discharge printing catalyst and a composition for a discharge printing catalyst are provided to prevent a bleeding phenomenon by obtaining a clear textile printing pattern. CONSTITUTION: Polyethylene glycol 200kg and diethylene glycol 10kg are put into a mixing container. Dicyandiamide 30kg is added to the mixture. The dicyandiamide is stirred for at least 3 minutes. Sulfuric acid 40kg is put into the mixture for 2~3 hours. Stirring speed gradually decreases for 30 minutes after cooling and stirring the mixture. The mixture is stirred for 1 hour after urea 200kg is mixed with water. Discharge printing catalyst 700kg is obtained.
