PURPOSE: A developer storing vessel and an image forming apparatus are provided to increase the acceptable volume of developer. CONSTITUTION: An inflow hole for collection(42c) is arranged in over the supplying outlet port to the gravity direction. The inflow hole for collection is arranged to the horizontal direction. A collected developer flows in the inlet port for collection. The collection developer receiver(42) comprises a receiving part(42b) for collection. The receiving part for collection is downwards expanded from the inlet port for collection. The developer flowing in from the inlet port for collection is accepted to the receiving part for collection.
