PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase adhesion of a top coat layer to a skin layer.SOLUTION: The skin layer 31 formed of a thermoplastic urethane elastomer is laid over the periphery of an endoscope flexible tube body 20. A top coat solution containing the thermoplastic urethane elastomer, a hardenable urethane resin composition, and a thermoplastic urethane elastomer-soluble solvent is prepared. After part of the thermoplastic urethane elastomer on the surface of the skin layer 31 is melted by applying the top coat solution to the surface of the skin layer 31, the hardenable urethane resin composition is hardened and an inclusion layer 33 is formed between the surface of the skin layer 31 and the top coat layer 32 together with the top coat layer 32. |
