PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a humidifying device configured to suppress the propagation of microorganisms in water by preventing a bactericidal component eluted to water from being adhered to the surface of a submerged member or the like to thereby prevent reduction in a concentration of the bactericidal component in the water.SOLUTION: The device includes a bactericidal component release unit 10 provided in water 4 in a water tank 1 to release a sterilizing component; and a vaporization humidifying element 19 partially submerged in the water 4 and performing rotational or reciprocating motion. When part of the element 19 is submerged in the water, the water 4 is retained on the surface of the submerged part, and when the water retaining part is moved to air, the water retained thereon is vaporized. |
