PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image drawing apparatus that facilitates achieving loop processing in the image drawing apparatus such as a VDP, thereby reducing processing loads of a CPU.SOLUTION: A loop frequency for repeatedly executing a specific command string is set as a command to be executed first in an animation execution program 6a stored in an image memory 6, and loop instruction information indicating return to a top command of the specific command string is set and stored in a command of a predetermined step. When receiving a start instruction for drawing an image from the CPU 2, the image drawing apparatus 4 allows a program execution part 41 to sequentially read out and execute respective commands in the animation execution program 6a stored in the image memory 6 in accordance with predetermined execution order. Then, when a command of a predetermined step is read out, respective commands, from the command indicated by the loop instruction information up to the read command, are repeatedly executed only by the loop frequency set in the command executed at first. |
