PURPOSE: A system and a method for obtaining information using a mobile phone are provided to synchronize display devices of a mobile phone and an IPTV, thereby obtaining an object of a spot of the mobile phone and the IPTV where cursors are matched. CONSTITUTION: A mobile phone(100) inputs a target content request. An IPTV(300) receives the target content request from the mobile phone using a settop box capable of near-field communication. A content providing server(700) stores a plurality of content. The content providing server receives the target content request through the settop box. The content providing server extracts target content, additional content, location data from the plurality of content. The content providing server transmits the extracted data to the IPTV through the settop box. |
