PURPOSE: A multi-stage self-indicating moisture absorbent, and a producing method thereof are provided to use the moisture absorbent as a desiccating agent or a humidifying agent. CONSTITUTION: A multi-stage self-indicating moisture absorbent contains 0.0005~0.5wt% of methyl violet, and 0.0005~7.5wt% of quinaldine red. The multi-stage self-indicating moisture absorbent additionally contains a self-multi indicator uniformly dispersed in the absorbent, and the balance of porous desiccant.
