<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that a conventional band-like solar cell needs a special structure for connection with a circuit so that an increase in cost or the problem of reliability occurs, because a ring-like film solar cell is loaded apart from a movement in a solar cell loaded wrist watch in which the ring-like film solar cell is arranged in the circumference of a dial and which is superior in the degree of design freedom irrespective of the material of a dial. <P>SOLUTION: The solar cell wrist watch includes a movement, a case housing the movement, a solar cell, and a dial, wherein the solar cell has a long, thin strip form and is arranged while being curved like a ring in the circumference of the dial, one end of the solar cell is bent in nearly vertical direction to the curved ring, the end is led into the movement on the lower surface of the dial and it is electrically connected with a circuit substrate located parallel to the dial. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
