<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate confirmation of the processing situations of a print job based on data submitted to a hot folder. <P>SOLUTION: When data to be printed are submitted to a hot folder 301, a printing processing status information control part 308 generates the status information file of a file name including information to specify a print job and information showing the processing situations, and stores it in a hot folder 301.
