<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of the surrounding of the ridgeline of the gate rotor in a screw compressor that is configured to early terminate the progress of wear caused during usage by contriving the structure of the surrounding of the ridgeline of the blade of the gate rotor which contacts with the flank surface of the screw rotor in a screw compressor. <P>SOLUTION: The flank surface of the surrounding of the ridgeline 1 of the blade 4 of the gate rotor is formed of an arc surface 2 and an arc surface 3. The flank surface of this shape increases the rate of reduction in a PV value to the progress of wear.
