<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To charge a DAP 2 even when a charging command is not transmitted to the DAP 2 from a host controller 3A of the PC 3. <P>SOLUTION: The DAP 2 executes a charging operation when receiving the command from a host controller, and does not execute the charging operation when no command is received from the host controller. When a switch 1E connects a connector 1J and a host controller 1B, the host controller 1B transmits the command to the DAP 2, to charge the DAP 2.
