<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coated wrapping paper having excellent ink color development at flexography even containing a prescribed proportion of waste paper in base paper, and excelling in processability in varnish processing, lamination or the like usually applied for the wrapping paper, and bag-making characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: The coated wrapping paper having a coated layer containing a pigment and an adhesive at least on one surface of the base paper is chracterized as follows. The base paper contains 5-50 mass% of a waste paper pulp obtained by a deinking treatment, and a cationized starch and an anionic polyacrylamide as a paper-strengthening agent. The coated layer contains calcined kaolin as a pigment. The specific tear strengths in the machine direction and the cross direction measured based on JIS P8116:2000 are 6.5-18.0 ((mN m<SP>2</SP>)/g) and 7.0-19.0 ((mN m<SP>2</SP>)/g) respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
