<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of setting a minimum operating frequency of a compressor to a resonance frequency range. <P>SOLUTION: The air conditioner includes the compressor 10 capable of changing an operating frequency between the minimum operating frequency and a maximum operating frequency, an inverter device 102 driving the compressor 10 at a predetermined operating frequency, a compressor frequency control device 101 instructing the inverter device 102 such that the compressor 10 becomes the predetermined operating frequency, and a power consumption calculating part 103 calculating power consumption of the compressor 10.
