NOVEL XENOANTIGENS AND THEIR USES

PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a xeno-organ and a cancer vaccine composition are provided to remarkably reduce rejection reaction of xenograft and to diagnose cancer. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a xeno-organ with reduced rejection reaction in human body comprises: a step of preparing an animal in which ST3Gal II gene(alpha-2,3 sialyltransferase II), ST6GalNac IV gene(alpha-2,6 sialyltransferase), or two genes are knocked-out; and a step of collecting organ from the animal. A kit for diagnosing cancer contains a material which specifically binds to antigenic carbohydrate. A cancer vaccine composition contains the antigenic carbonydrate. The material which specifically binds to the antigenic carbohydrate is an antibody, aptamer, or lectin.
