<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control necessity of image correction to illumination light in accordance with the image. <P>SOLUTION: An input image determination part (18) determines whether an input image is an image photographed with a camera 44 or not. An ambient light information acquisition part (22) acquires ambient light information by using an ambient light sensor (20). In accordance with the result of determination by the input image determination part (18), an image correction part (24) corrects the input image in accordance with the ambient light information if the input image is other than a photographed image and, if the input image is a photographed image, does not apply correction.
