<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device which quickly focuses an object even if the object moves, and to provide an imaging method. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging device is configured to include: a photographic lens; an imaging means which obtains image data based on object light received via the photographic lens; a motion detecting means which detects a motion of the object based on image data sequentially obtained from the imaging means; a focus detecting means which calculates focus position determination data based on the image data obtained by driving the photographic lens when the motion detecting means detects a motion of the object; and an focus position estimating means which estimates a focus position based on the focus position determination data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
