PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting apparatus capable of suppressing enlargement of the apparatus by using common optical members even when mounting components to both sides of a substrate. SOLUTION: The mounting apparatus includes: a stage 110; a substrate holding member 130 provided at the stage to hold the substrate 160; a waveguide 120 formed at the stage to expose an incident end face 121 and an emission end face 122 to a surface on the substrate holding member side; and a condenser lens 140 emitting light toward the incident end face.
