PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent looseness of a nut by screwing a machine screw into a threaded hole formed with eccentricity to the axis of the nut. SOLUTION: This locking mechanism of a nut includes: the threaded hole 11 formed extending from the outer periphery of the nut 10 parallel to both end faces 13, 13; and the machine screw 21 screwed into the threaded hole 11, wherein the threaded hole 11 is made eccentric from the axis C of the nut 10 to the opposite side to the fastening direction of the nut 10 within the radius of a female screw 12 of the nut 10.
