PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal grinding device having non-complicated mechanical construction for preventing grinding burn by easily supplying coolant to a fixed position. SOLUTION: The internal grinding device 10 is provided for grinding an annular workpiece while supplying the coolant from a coolant supply passage. It includes a spindle 1, a backing plate 3 rotatably mounted integrally with the spindle 1, and a rotary grinding wheel 5 for grinding the inner peripheral face of the annular workpiece abutting on a supporting part 31 of the backing plate 3.
