PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To check whether a communication environment is adequate for an estimated response time from a server device in actual operation, at the initial introduction of a sales data processor. SOLUTION: According to the sales data processor 1, a CPU 10 creates a response WAIT time designation request telegram D1 for requesting an information center server 2 to transmit a response telegram after waiting for a predetermined response waiting time, a communication part 15 transmits it to an information center server 2, and a printing part 16 prints and outputs a response result indicating whether or not the response WAIT time designation response telegram D2 from the information center server 2 is received by the communication part 15 within a predetermined time.
