<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and system for managing widgets in a portable terminal, which set the maximum number of widgets to be registered, and when additional registration is requested while the widgets corresponding to the maximum number has been registered, deletes low priority widgets among the registered widgets then registers the widgets requested to be registered. <P>SOLUTION: The method for managing widgets in a portable terminal includes: a process in which an management event occurs that corresponds to either a registration event for registering at least one widget to which the limited number of widget registrations is set or a removal event for removing at least one registered widget; a process in which the registered widget is removed in accordance with the number of widgets requested for registration if a management event is a registration event; and a process in which reserved widgets for the number of widgets requested for registration are registered if the management event is a removal event. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
