PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide inclination preventive device of a press machine capable of preventing any inclination of a slide during the press forming. SOLUTION: The inclination preventive device of a slide 15 includes a slide guide 16 having a guide face 162 opposing a sliding face 152 of a side of the slide 15 and provided on a frame 13 to guide the slide 15, and a static pressure generating mechanism 30. In the longitudinal direction FB of a press machine 1, the guide face 162 is provided opposite to and across the slide 15 or the sliding face 152 is provided across and opposite to the slide guide 16. The guide face 162 is provided opposite to and across the slide 15 in the horizontal direction of the press machine 1. The static pressure generating mechanism 39 generates the static pressure between the guide face 162 and the sliding face 152. When the slide 15 is inclined with respect to the elevating/lowering direction of the slide 15, and a space between the guide face 162 and the sliding face 152 is narrowed, generating the reaction force in the space-increasing direction.
