PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain sheet dislocation on a tray only by control of an existing member in a stacker. SOLUTION: Even after completing paper ejection of the stacking final paper, three registering means in total of a distal end stopper and main joggers, hold a sheet in a sheet abutting position (S104-1). The existence of a lowering request from a user to a shift tray is determined in this state (S104-2), and when the lowering request is output (S104-2: YES), after a specific time (for example, time 30 sec until the sheet is settled down)passes (S104-3), when the specific time is passed (S104-3: YES), the distal end stopper and the main joggers allowed to abut on the sheet are moved to a retreat position (S104-4), and after completing the movement of the distal end stopper and the main joggers, lowering of the shift tray is started (S104-5). When the lowering of the shift tray is completed (S104-6), printing finishes.
