PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such the problem that it takes a time from receiving a request for the content until starting to provide the content of the content attributes corresponding to the type of a device that has requested the content. SOLUTION: In the content providing apparatus, the device search part 102 of a digital camera 20 obtains type information of the device on a network 10. Then, an attribute information determination part 104, based on the type information obtained by the device search part 102, determines parameters of the content to be provided to the device corresponding to the type information. Then, a content providing part 104 provides the content processed based on the determined parameters in response to reception of a request from the device having parameters determined by the attribute information determination part 104.
