PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device, system, method and program for providing document image data, and a background processing program for easily improving appearance of reused document image data when the document image data are reused. SOLUTION: The device for providing document image data includes: a document image input means for inputting document image data; a region recognition means for recognizing the region of document image elements constituting the document image data; an element data extraction means extracting element data of a selected document image element based on the recognized region when the document image element of the document image data is selected in an information processor; a background processing means replacing a color of the background region of the element data with a predetermined color; and an element data providing means providing the element data with the background region in the changed color to the information processor.
